Candidate-rejection sequence

I'm hiring a {{job_title}} at {{your_company}} and need to close out candidates I'm not advancing.

Pull my Hunter list {{list_name_or_url}} — the candidates to decline.

For each, draft a warm, specific note tuned to {{stage_eg_application_post_interview_finalist_or_internal}}: thank them, deliver the "no" plainly and attribute it to fit or more direct experience (not a failing), add one genuine piece of praise, and leave an honest door open — scale the warmth with how far they got (finalists and internal applicants get a real "let's stay connected"; early-stage gets a sincere "watch for openings").

Verify addresses, then set it up in Hunter for my review.

Grounded in Hunter's rejection templates: acknowledge → plain "no" framed as fit → specific praise → forward-looking open door. Real lines: "That's the deciding factor, not a reflection of your potential…", subject "Your [[job title]] application at [[company]]: next time."
