It's magic. I go to a website and can immediately get email addresses — complete with a confidence score so I can gauge how accurate the info is. This has saved me hours and loads of frustration. Highly recommend.

Is Hunter's Edge add-on free to use?

Yes. It requires a free account that provides 25 free searches/month. Your can upgrade your account for more.

How do the email searches on websites work?

Each time you visit a website, click Hunter's icon in Edge to get a list of email addresses directly in your browser.

The extension displays every email address found on the web associated with the domain name of the site you're visiting. For each email address, the extension will provide the sources where the email was found along with its discovery date.

Does the extension scrape email addresses on the pages I'm visiting?

No, the extension will never save data from the content of the pages you visit. The email addresses displayed are exclusively email addresses our own crawlers found public on the web.

How accurate are the email addresses found with the extension?

The email addresses returned can have two different states:

  • Verified email address: we were able to recently validate the email address is valid. You can recognize these email addresses with the green Verified icon next to them.
  • Any other email address: these have not been fully verified recently, but are returned with a confidence score that evaluates the accuracy instead. This score considers all the signals we can get to provide a relevant evaluation (SMTP verifications, number and quality of sources, match with the most common pattern and other criteria). If relevant, a checkmark icon will let you manually trigger an email verification to get more insights.

How many email searches can I make?

The limit to the number of searches you can make is defined by your plan.

How can I uninstall the extension?

Visit the page of the extension in the Edge add-ons and click Remove. You can also remove it from the add-ons manager in Edge.
