What are Unified Credits?

Every search and verification completed by users of our Free, Starter, Scale, and Growth plans is done using a single credit type known as Unified Credits.

How are Unified Credits used?

Whether you need to find email addresses, keep your leads in your CRM up to date, or ensure you have the correct email address for leads, all of these actions require Unified Credits.

Hunter API	Automate lookups via API	Same logic as tools above

Duplicate requests (Email Finder, Verifier, Domain Search) made in the same billing period (monthly) or calendar month (yearly) won't consume credits again. This doesn't apply to bulk uploads — those will always use credits.
When you have a paid plan and verify and save a lead in Hunter, you'll benefit from free monthly re-verification.
Extra credit packs can be purchased at any time and are valid for 12 months.
Once an email is revealed in Domain Search, it’s saved to your account. You can access it again without using credits.
No credits are used it Hunter can't find or verify an email.
