(First Name) Hi: and quick question about (Company Name)

Hi {{first_name}},

Hope you don't mind me reaching out to you directly.

I first heard about {{company}} from [[personalization about where I heard about them and/or specific info from their case study or recent blog post]].

To cut to the chase, the reason I'm writing is because I wanted to ask about your content projects at {{company}}. I saw that your latest blog update was last month, do you have any plans on growing it more?

I ghostwrite a lot of engaging, conversational, and SEO-fueled content (blog posts, copy, case studies, etc.) on all things digital marketing, eCommerce, growth-hacking, and more.

If there's any room for collaboration, I'd love to help you grow.

Here are a few of my ghostwriting samples on social media/email marketing if you'd like to get a sense of my writing style:

I've also worked closely with eCommerce (mainly dropshipping) and I'm interested in all things Facebook Ads / digital marketing - so I know my way around the niche quite well.

What do you think? I'd be glad to talk about this more in-depth or hop on a call if you have any questions/comments.

Thanks!

PS - feel free to redirect me to someone else if you're not the right person to ask about content projects at {{company}}.

Cheers,
Irakli

Just the right amount of open-ended-ness and being direct. It's not spammy, and the main question of the email is if they're focusing on the area I'm offering my services in. The goal is to find out if that's the case, and if there's any room for collaboration before talking about the details, pricing, and so on. As always, following up is essential with any cold outreach and in this case, I did get a reply after following up twice.
