Thank you for your interest in the Hunter Affiliate Program! This agreement is designed to protect you, Hunter, and our customers. Please read thoroughly. If you have any questions, please contact us at affiliates@hunter.io.
This agreement describes the terms and conditions for participation in the Hunter Affiliate Program. In this agreement, the term "Affiliate" refers to you (the applicant). In this agreement, “Hunter” refers to Hunter Web Services, Inc., with whom you are entering this agreement. By applying to the Hunter Affiliate Program you are confirming that you have read the agreement and agree to the terms and conditions.
Commissions
For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the upgrade to a paid plan on Hunter and remain a paid customer for at least 45 days. Commissions will only be paid on sales that are made when the customer clicks through qualified, correctly structured Affiliate links. Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the Affiliate. Commissions can be viewed on the Affiliate Dashboard.
The commissions accumulate with recurring payments made by a customer, limited to the first 12 months within the first 12 months.
Payments
To give time for refunds, the commissions are payable 45 days after the payment made by a customer. The commissions are then due when the Affiliate’s balance reaches a minimum of 100 USD.
The commissions due are paid out via PayPal on the first week of each month.
Refunds
In the event a customer requests a refund for a transaction for which the Affiliate has earned commissions, any commissions earned on the refund amount will be deducted from the Affiliate’s balance.
Usage and Obligations
Affiliates are permitted to use the Hunter brand and marketing resources available in the Press section of Hunter website and the Affiliate Resource Center. Logos and other assets cannot be modified. The Affiliate does not gain any trademark, copyright or any other rights to these materials.
The Affiliate will make sure all the information shared about Hunter and its products is accurate.
The Affiliate is permitted to use online paid advertising to promote their Affiliate links.
The Affiliate will not imply that they are acting on behalf of Hunter. The Affiliate will never represent themselves, Hunter, or their relationship with Hunter in a false or misleading way.
The Affiliate will not manipulate the Affiliate tracking to get attributed web traffic they didn't directly generate.
The Affiliate will not engage in the distribution of an unsolicited bulk email mentioning or referencing Hunter.
The Affiliate is not permitted to refer themselves or someone in their company or office. The Affiliate is not permitted to create an account on behalf of someone else.
Termination
Either party has the right to terminate the agreement immediately without prior notice.
If the Affiliate terminates the agreement, no further commissions from Hunter will be paid for any past or future customer transactions.
If Hunter chooses to terminate the agreement, the remaining balance will be paid to the affiliate within 60 days of termination.
In case Hunter terminates the agreement for violation of the Affiliate Program Terms, the commissions will not be paid or owed.
Privacy Notice for Affiliate Program
1. Data Controller
Hunter.io (hereinafter "we," "us," or "our") acts as the data controller for the personal data collected through our affiliate program.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect and process the following personal data when you apply for and participate in our affiliate program:
2.1. During Application:
- First and last name
- Professional email address
- Company name and website URL
- Hunter customer status
- Promotion intentions and channels
- Channel URLs
2.2. Upon Approval:
- PayPal email address
- Affiliate performance data
- Commission-related information
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Performance of the affiliate agreement between you and us.
- Our legitimate interests in managing and improving our affiliate program.
4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Evaluating affiliate program applications;
- Managing the affiliate program relationship;
- Communicating program updates and information;
- Processing commission payments;
- Analyzing affiliate performance; and
- Preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with our terms.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors
We share your personal data with the following third-party service providers:
5.1. Core Service Providers:
- Rewardful: For affiliate tracking and commission management
- Customer.io: For email communication
- Stripe: For payment processing and commission attribution
- Google Workspace: For application form and data storage
- Zapier: For automation between services
5.2. All third-party processors:
- Are bound by data processing agreements
- Process data only on our documented instructions
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures
- Assist us in fulfilling our GDPR obligations
6. Data Retention
6.1. We retain your personal data for the duration of your participation in our affiliate program.
6.2. Upon termination of the affiliate relationship:
- Your active account will be deactivated;
- Your data will be removed from communication channels; and
- Essential records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
7. International Data Transfers
7.1. Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
7.2. Such transfers occur only when:
- The country ensures an adequate level of protection as determined by the European Commission
- Appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses)
- You have explicitly consented to the transfer
8. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
9. Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, including:
- Secure data storage in Google Workspace;
- Restricted access to personal data;
- Regular security assessments of third-party processors;
- Staff training on data protection.

Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware.
Modification
We may modify any of the terms and conditions within this agreement at any time and at our sole discretion. These modifications may include, but not limited to changes in the scope of available commissions, commission schedules, payment procedures and Affiliate Program rules.
